Man City is struggling with injuries

Pep Guardiola was left with injuries to Jack Grealish and Bernardo Silva after Manchester City returned to the Champions League with a 3-1 win over FC Copenhagen on Tuesday.

Describing the problems they have, he said: “It's a muscular thing with Jack, his groin.

“He felt it on the grass and started complaining. The players can immediately feel it if it is muscular. It's a shame, it's been gutted.

“He wanted to continue, but we didn't want to add to the damage. Tomorrow we will do tests.

“Bernardo has a big blow in his ankle and Josko is out for two to three weeks. Kova is ready to come back.”

Guardiola with eyes on the defense

After winning a fantastic treble last season, Man City are still in a good position to defend all three trophies.

It will take some effort, but given the quality of their roster, you wouldn't bet against them.

They have one foot in the quarter-finals of the Champions League, face Luton Town in the fifth round of the FA Cup and are two points behind Liverpool in the Premier League.

Madrid in Kroos control in Leipzig

With all the stars in Carlo Ancelotti's side, midfielder Toni Kroos is often overlooked.

The stability he brings to this team, while connecting the game, is something that takes Madrid to another level.

Tonight too, his stats throughout the match are something to respect.
