A THRIFTY mum has revealed where you can top up your wardrobe on the cheap, with jeans selling for less than a pound.

Who doesn't love a visit to the thrift store, whether you're looking for something specific or want to check out the latest bargains on the shelves?

One person who certainly won't say no to a visit to second-hand shops is mum Francesca Ramsden, who has found Louis Vuitton and Chanel bags for under £5, saving more than £20,000.

The stylish fashionista, who calls herself Your online thrift store bestieregularly shares her favorite finds on TikTok, where her page has amassed a whopping 120,000 followers.

Now the 33-year-old mum, from Britain, has delighted fans with another successful visit to what claimed to be 'the cheapest charity shop in the world'.

According to the thrift enthusiast, charity shop Age UK – which has a number of locations across the country – is offering some incredible deals at a low price, including clothing essentials for pocket change.

When the store was having a half-price sale on the day of the visit, Francesca came across some fantastic budget-friendly items, including a pair of Pretty Little Thing jeans for 50 cents.

Other items she came across while browsing the aisles included a cute giant dollhouse for £1.50, children's tops for 25p and even some designer stuff, like a Kenzo T-shirt for just 50p – and these are usually too buy for around £100 depending on design.

Francesca, who was on a mission to find staples for her wardrobe, also found a chic COS shirt for 50 cents and even something for her daughter: a cute pink dress for her birthday.

Dozens of social media users rushed to comment below the videowhere someone said: ''I love that shop, they always sell things very cheap compared to other shops, some are very expensive.''

Another said: “You can always find nice stuff here, just never in my size.”

Someone else wrote: ''The ones near me are so expensive, £30 for a Sylvanian house with pen on it and no accessories.''

''You'd have a heart attack if you came to the charity shops in the Midlands, they won't even give you a porter for less than 50p,'' a fourth added.

The mother of two is proud that she has a wardrobe that is 99% second-hand and that the majority of her children's clothes are also second-hand.

Francesca said the key to bagging a bargain is to visit charity shops as much as possible, look for 'hidden' items in the children's and menswear areas and refurbish broken garments.

For the cheapest deals, the frugal whiz recommended heading to towns and cities in the North and also visiting the less affluent areas for better deals.

“Saving is living, I absolutely love it.

'It haunts me to think that when I'm older and when I die, my children will have to live in this world – with all the things thrown away and all the pollution.

“I got a Chanel bag for £1 from Cancer Research in Rawtenstall and a Louis Vuitton bag for £3.50 a few months ago from a recycling center in Manchester.

“I go into the store with a clear vision of what I want and manifest what I want.

“I think I saved about £20,000 by buying second hand and I went on family holidays to Rome and Lanzarote last year because of the money I saved.”
