Chrissie Swan has shared her secret recipe for a quick and easy chocolate cake that’s a hit every time.

In a video shared to Instagram, the television personality went through the process of making her special chocolate cake.

Only three ingredients are needed: 500ml thickened cream, a generous dash of Queen vanilla paste and a 250g pack of Arnott’s Choc Ripple biscuits.

“I’m alarmed by how many people haven’t stuffed themselves with the biggest and easiest cake in the world,” she wrote in her caption.

‘I can’t believe this is necessary, but I won’t sleep until we all experience the magic of the CHOCOLATE RIPPLE CAKE!’ she added.

Chrissie explained that all you have to do is ‘whip the cream very thick and then build up your block’.

She described the cookies as the “brick” and the cream as the “mortar” and layered the cookies and cream to form a block.

The dessert is then wrapped in foil and left in the refrigerator overnight before being cut diagonally to serve.

As an optional extra, Chrissie suggested crushing a Peppermint Crisp chocolate bar to decorate, plus some Christmas ornaments for a seasonal touch.

Chrissie recently revealed she feels like ‘a different person’ after losing half her body weight during the Covid pandemic.

After reportedly losing 90kg since lockdowns began, she briefly opened up about her weight loss in an interview with The Australian Women’s Weekly.

She said the “huge” lifestyle changes she had made over the past 12 months had improved her life in so many ways.

“I’m not going to talk about the size of my butt,” she said.

‘I’m not going to tell you what I eat in a day. Because I read those stories and they make me feel bad about myself.”
