These are the UniBond Aero 360° Refill Tablets.

Customers simply need to pop them into their dehumidifier and let the tablets do their work – for an estimated period of one to three months.

The tablets are ideal for rooms up to 20 square meters, but can also work in larger rooms.

Aldi recommends using them in their UniBond Aero 360° Moisture Absorber, which they sell for just £9.99, but they also work in other dehumidifiers.

The tablets are made from recycled plastic, function without electricity and even have advanced 360 degree air circulation.

We had a very serious mold and condensation problem on our walls

The multinational supermarket describes that the tablets can “effectively absorb moisture to create a comfortable indoor climate.”

“It prevents common moisture problems such as condensation, mold and musty odors.”

While the absorber is described as: “With innovative 2-in-1 refill tab technology, the moisture absorber not only reduces excess moisture but also neutralizes odors.

“The AERO 360° tab consists of ultra-active crystals and the patented wave-shaped surface improves air exposure and circulation.

“In addition, the tab contains patented anti-odor agents that capture and neutralize bad odors.

“The UniBond moisture-absorbing device also indicates when refilling is needed, promising non-stop moisture control.”

And many satisfied customers agree.

More than 10,000 people have left five-star reviews claiming the UniBond Aero 360° tablets are the best solution against mold and condensation.

One enthusiastic user wrote: “The UniBond Aero 360 Moisture Absorber is the ultimate solution for banishing excess moisture and creating a healthier living environment.

“Thanks to its innovative design and efficiency, it effectively absorbs moisture, preventing mold and unpleasant odors.

“The moisture-absorbing process not only helps prevent mold and mildew growth, but also protects your furniture, walls and fabrics from damage caused by excess moisture.”

Another said: “These are amazing. We had a moisture problem at our front door and we use hanging bags.

“These work great! They really absorb most of the moisture (nothing is ever 100%), but definitely work better than the hanging bags.

“Honestly, I would buy them. They are also convenient because they are refillable too!”

While a third added: “I've noticed a lot more condensation in a bedroom and veranda this year so I tried this one.

“My goodness, they work so well! They are very easy to put together. Within a day of using them I noticed liquid starting to collect at the bottom which meant so much moisture had been removed from the air.

“In two weeks it will now be over an inch deep! Definitely a good buy.”

This is how you combat mold in your home

  • First, keep the humidity in your home as low as possible
  • You can purchase an air conditioner or dehumidifier to keep levels down, or you can use a meter to monitor humidity
  • It is also important to check that the air in your home is flowing freely. You can use exhaust fans that vent outside your home
  • Be sure to repair any leaks in your home so that mold cannot access the moisture it needs to grow
  • Clean your bathroom with products that combat mold
  • Do not place carpet in a place where there may be a lot of moisture, such as in the bathroom
  • You can also add mold inhibitors to your walls when you paint them
