The CS2 tournament is already well into its play-off stages, with some of the top teams already eliminated from the tournament.

CS's “Real Madrid”, Vitality, had an unexpected exit at the hands of Heroic.

This means that the series of disappointing results in Katowice for the best player in the world “ZywOo” has continued.

This is the third time we attend IEM Katowice and every time the atmosphere at the tournament gets better and better.

Furthermore, our hotel is a 10-minute walk from the Spodek Arena where the tournament and Expo are held.

A light rain greets us at the hotel exit, but that doesn't change the good mood we are in.

The walk is short and when we get close to the Spodek Arena, we already see that the line is huge.

IEM Katowice is not just a tournament, but an attraction.

It's a place where younger and older people can have fun watching their favorite players or attending the expo's activities such as raffles, games, trivia, and of course, spend a lot of money on gamer gear.

The biggest brands such as Intel, Predator, Nintendo and Omen all have their own stands where you can try out their products and play some of the best games available.

As the CS2 Playoffs begin, the air fills with excitement and you can see the anticipation on people's faces.

It's something special to see their favorite players in this arena, and few places are as exciting as Spodek.

The lights dim and the intros begin. The crowd gets louder and the lighting effects and pyrotechnics come into effect.

The energy that comes from the audience is like no other and brings an adrenaline rush for the participants.

Before the event really starts, all we know is that we're in for an exciting weekend.
