DANA WHITE has made an official announcement regarding Ilia Topuria's first defense of the UFC featherweight title.
The Georgia-born Spaniard ripped the 145-pound title from former champion Alexander Volkanovski early Sunday morning in the main event of UFC 298 in Anaheim.
Topuria beat 'The Great' COLD OUTSIDE in the second round of their clash in california for both georgia and Spain's first UFC champion.
Topuria's star current was clear and evident during fight week when Spanish sporting icons Iker Casillas, Andreas Iniesta and Rafael Nadal sent him messages of support.
And the UFC plans to show the adopted Spaniard this in his backyard summer.
At the post-fight press conference, White said: “I want to go Spain – we're going to Spain.
“If there is a location available for us, we are there.
“We are definitely going to Spain… and it would be a pay-per-view.”
Topuria, 27, is already dreaming of leading an iconic stadium show at the Santiago Bernabeu – home of Real Madrid – against Conor McGregor.
And he doubled down on his desire to face The Notorious just minutes after fulfilling his dream of winning UFC gold.

He said: “Conor McGregorIf you still have some balls, I'll wait for you in Spain!”
A rematch with Volkanovski – who has lost his last two via brutal knockout – is more likely to suit Topuria than a showdown with McGregor.
However, White refuses to commit to the prospect of pitting the pair against each other, saying: “I don't know yet.
“It just happened. I don't even think about that now.”
Topuria was overcome with emotion after the featherweight was tied around his waist.
He told UFC commentator Joe Rogan in his post-fight interview: “They say you can't do it, but trust yourself and work hard.
“Anything is possible. Now look at me.”
