New Delhi: In a major development ahead of the Lok Sabha elections, Prime Minister Arvind Kejriwal has asked the people of Delhi to vote for the INDIA bloc in the Lok Sabha polls so that their voice can be heard in Parliament. Moreover, he has also ensured that the high water bills will be waived if the alliance candidates are elected, according to a report by news agency IANS.

Speaking at a protest organized by his Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) against high water bills here, Kejriwal on a lighter note said he should be awarded the Nobel Prize for leading the government despite the alleged hurdles created by the BJP.

Delhi CM promises big

“If you choose INDIA bloc this time, Delhi will have its own defense armor, and then no one can trouble the people… No LG will then be able to harm the people of Delhi, as we will have strong representation in Parliament to have. he said. Kejriwal claimed that he had hardly seen any of the seven elected MPs raising Delhi’s real concerns in Parliament so far.

“Once you give us these seven seats, I promise you that the wrongly inflated water bills will be waived within fifteen days of the Lok Sabha elections and no LG will be able to do anything to the people of Delhi.

“I hereby reiterate that you do not have to pay these bad bills. You can tear and burn these bills in front of BJP functionaries, I am with you,” he said.

The AAP and Congress, members of the INDIA bloc, have finalized a 4-3 arrangement in Delhi, with the ruling party set to contest four of the seven parliamentary seats in the national capital. The Chief Minister said there are around 11 lakh families who have received high water bills.

“The AAP government is your government. Had the BJP been in power, it would have cut off the water supply. Those who received high water bills do not have to pay them.

“We made a plan to pay the water bills. BJP people stopped the plan through the LG. Officers are literally crying and saying they have been threatened with suspension if they submit the plan to the cabinet,” Kejriwal alleged. The chief minister alleged that the BJP had stalled many plans of the city government.

“Only my heart knows how I run the government in Delhi. The way the BJP, along with the Lieutenant Governor (LG), has been harassing the people of the capital, and the way I have been continuously addressing and solving all these problems faced by the people of Delhi, is something that I Earn a Nobel Prize. for.

“But the Nobel Prize for me is nothing but your love and support, the trust you have in me is what I have earned,” he said. The Chief Minister assured the people that he would implement the one-time scheme for high water bills.

‘Delhi BJP hates people,’ says Delhi CM

“The BJP hates the people of Delhi because you voted for AAP three times. The BJP is taking revenge on them for choosing a common man as the chief minister. I love you. I can die, but I can’t watch you suffer. I will stand like a wall between the atrocities of the BJP and you,” he said. He also accused the BJP of running a smear campaign for years.

“I can assure you that they (the BJP) will definitely pay for their sins. God is watching them, and their swollen egos will soon be shattered, just like Ravana’s. Everyone should reap what he sows,” Kejriwal said.

Meanwhile, the Delhi BJP demanded that the AAP government issue zero water bills to those with disputed bills. Delhi BJP chief Virendra Sachdeva alleged that Kejriwal has heated up the water bill issue just to divert public attention from his government’s alleged corruption.

“CM Kejriwal must understand that the people of Delhi know very well that the Jal administration is awash with scams and the installation of airflow water meters has created the problem of a few million consumers getting exorbitant bills,” he said.
