Although she often recommends products to help viewers achieve healthy hair, the doctor recently revealed that their hair routine could be doing more harm than good.

Instead of using shampoo and then conditioner, she explained that there’s a better way to achieve luscious locks — especially if you have an oily scalp.
Her first tip was to change up your routine and condition, using conditioner before shampoo.
She said: “This trick is great for anyone with an oily scalp who needs to wash their hair more often, but at the same time is concerned about the damage caused to the hair by frequent hair washing.”
According to the content creator, this can protect your hair from drying out or damaging even if you wash it more often.
She also urged fans to be careful with how they apply any conditioning product, urging them to only apply it to the ends to avoid any build-up.
“Apply the conditioner only to the ends of your hair before washing and this essentially acts as a shield… protecting your hair,” she explained, adding that you can then rinse it out before continuing with your normal hair routine.
Unsurprisingly, the simple hair hack has amazed fans who have struggled with lifeless hair for decades.
Some even revealed that they had tried the method, which simply transformed the hair by changing the wash cycle.
