The anarchist Vulkan Group promised this “no Tesla is safe” after declaring war on the tech mogul – prompting him to call them “terrorists.”

He will visit the gigafactory, the only Tesla factory in Europe, tomorrow morning, after it had to stop production for days due to the fire.

Vulkan’s arson caused a power outage after a power pylon near the site was set on fire.

Tesla boss Musk called the strike a ‘stupid’ blow from ‘eco-terrorists’.

Every day production stopped cost Tesla between £40 and £50 million. Image reports.

And it wasn’t the first time Musk’s electric cars were targeted by a radical group.

In September last year, fifteen of them were set on fire in Frankfurt, leaving a trail of burnt-out car bodies.

Police and emergency services stormed the site and searched the area for the perpetrators.

But it wasn’t until Sunday that the repair work on the python was completed and the factor could get back to work.

Subsequently, in a 2,700-word statement published online, the extremist far-left gang known as Vulkangruppe said, “We sabotaged Tesla today.”

They described the hit as a gift to mark International Women’s Day on March 8.

The statement published by local media said: “Tesla in Grünau eats earth, raw materials, people, labor and spits out 6,000 SUVs, killing machines and monster trucks every week.

“Our gift for March 8 is closing Tesla.”

“Together we will bring Tesla to its knees. Switch off for Tesla,” the statement concludes.

Police said they were aware of the letter and were checking its authenticity.

Local official Dietmar Woidke condemned the alleged attack, saying: “This is clearly a serious attack on our critical infrastructure affecting thousands of people and many small and large businesses in our state.

“Attacks on our critical infrastructure are a form of terrorism.”

Musk posted on

“Stopping the production of electric vehicles in favor of fossil fuel vehicles is extremely stupid.” (“extremely stupid” in German).

The strike followed a series of new arson attacks against Tesla vehicles and charging stations.

German police are investigating the hits as ‘left-wing politically motivated’ crimes.

It is not the first time that the Volcano group has been suspected of arson against Tesla.

Several power cables were damaged in 2021 due to an affected construction site in Gruenheide.

At the time, the far-left group accused Tesla of being neither green, ecological nor social.

Meanwhile, environmentalists have protested in a forest near the factory against Tesla’s plans to expand.

During the Stop Tesla protest, dozens of activists set up tents and built tree houses, some several meters above the ground, a tactic used in previous German environmental protests.

Tesla wants to expand the factory after the factory opens in March 2022.
