In a post shared on TikTok (@elegantstyleofficial), a fashion fan took her social media followers on a visit to her local branch.

She shares a photo of the dress, which is branded “stylish” on the hanger, and notes: “H&M gives Chanel.”

The fully lined 'smart belted dress' reaches the knee and is made of woven fabric with a round neckline, invisible zipper at the back and fitted seams at the front and back.

It also has short sleeves, a narrow belt that fastens your waist with metal carabiners and a split at the back.

The post quickly went viral, receiving a whopping xx views and several comments from fashion gurus across the country – with shoppers also leaving numerous five-star reviews online.

And it's not the first time shoppers have run to H&M in recent weeks.

Customers recently went wild after spotting favorite flogging dupes of Skims bodysuits on the high street for less than a fiver.

In a video posted to the TikTok channel @wearherstyle, sisters Alessia and Geraldina wrote: “Snatched away. H&M gives Skims.”

The bodysuits, which come in a range of sizes from XS to XXL, are currently priced at €9.99 in black and white, while the beige is on sale for just €4.

Meanwhile, a Skims bodysuit costs a whopping £70, meaning you can save yourself a whopping £60 by opting for the cheaper version.
