The English actress, 27, was in São Paulo, Brazil on Sunday for a Comic-Con event promoting Dune: Part Two on a panel alongside her costars Timothée Chalamet, Austin Butler and Zendaya.

The Oscar-nominated Little Women star was briefly shocked when an object hit her face during the event as the cast left the stage.

Pugh’s costars checked to see if she was okay after the scary incident.

The incident marked the latest in a disturbing trend of celebrities in the crowd being pelted with objects.

Singer Ari Lennox was angry after a concertgoer launched a bottle in her direction while she performed at the Forum in Inglewood, California on Wednesday.

The Washington, D.C. native, who opened for Rod Wave, started singing her signature song Pressure when the bottle just missed her.

“Bitch, don’t play with me,” the R&B singer, whose full name is Courtney Shanade Salter, said in a video on social media that circulated after the incident. “Stop messing around, I’m going to destroy you.”

The Got Me artist stood facing a specific part of the arena as she continued her statement, “Who did it? Who the hell did it?’ she said. ‘I’m not playing that, I’m a real b****, and I’ll fuck the hell out of your ass.

“Don’t you ever disrespect a beautiful black woman on a fucking stage, I’ll fucking fuck you. That’s the damn thing, who did it?’

In a separate fan clip, a person in the crowd appeared to identify himself as the person who threw the bottle, as Lennox said, “Come here, let’s do it.”

The microphone Lennox was using was turned off and Lennox’s security led her off the stage and followed the hazard. Entertainment weekly reported.

Rexha required stitches following the incident, which saw a man named Nicolas Malvagna arrested on charges of assault.
