“The souls of the damned can be heard,” Pandora’s Box in Fortnite explained

FORTNITE fans had an exciting weekend as the latest live event completely changed the game.

A series of earthquakes led to the giant flaming Titan Hand emerging from beneath the Fortnite map, and worse yet, fans had to defeat it.

The box is opened and shoots an orange tornado into the sky

The giant hand held a chest tied with chains, with a health bar telling players to take it down.

Everyone wasted no time trying to open the box, with players consistently dealing damage to it every match, lowering its massive health bar.

Each of the six chains eventually broke, and about 24 hours after it first appeared, the last chain broke, causing the coffin to fall to the ground.

Once the box reached the battlefield, the lid opened and Fortnite was swapped out for the upcoming season.

We all know the myth of Pandora’s Box, where all the evil in the world burst forth as soon as it was opened.

Not much has happened since the box was opened, but that doesn’t mean it will stay that way.

At this moment, a glowing orange tornado has emerged from Pandora’s box and is reaching into the sky.

If you get close enough, you’ll see ghostly demonic hands spinning around in the tornado, giving a taste of what’s to come.

You can also use the tornado to launch yourself into the air if necessary.

The opening of Pandora’s Box is the latest step in the lead-up to Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 2, which starts on March 8.

We expect more to happen to the box before Season 1 ends, but we’ll have to wait a little longer to see what’s unleashed on the world.
