Francesca Packer’s boyfriend Robert Bates showed off his toned torso as he took a dip at Bondi Beach last week.

The wellness CEO, 43, was dripping salt water as he returned to the sand in low-slung board shorts.

The entrepreneur dried off his dark locks and drove off in his billionaire heiress girlfriend’s pink Mercedes G Wagon.

In March, it was reported that Francesca was still dating the controversial businessman, despite claims they were splitting up.

The pair confirmed their romance last December after they were spotted sharing a kiss and cuddling on the deck of a luxury yacht in Sydney Harbour.

Francesca “fell head over heels” for the divorced father and “even confided to friends her desire to start a family” with him.

However, The Daily Telegraph reported that they had split in February – around the same time claims emerged that he had been chased by wealthy investors for $15 million.

But just a week later, the same publication reported that they were still together, and so was Francesca dragged Robert to her swanky Darlinghurst apartment at The Horizon after failing to pay the rent on his Bondi Beach penthouse Christmas.

Robert is the CEO of wellness brands Aurum+ and Aquamamma and the founder of 7 Trinity Biotech.

Aurum+ claims to be a ‘clinically proven solution that treats and prevents mental health issues such as stress, anxiety and depression’, while Aquamamma is a ‘healthy hydration solution’ for pregnant and breastfeeding women.

Robert’s business acumen is celebrated in the pages of the Australian Financial Review’s annual list of successful young business people, but he once faced heavy criticism from his own investors and clients.

In March, Robert and Francesca, 28, (left) made headlines after it was reported she was still in a relationship with the controversial businessman, despite claims they had split.

According to the AFRRobert was pursued by a series of ‘rich’ investors wanting their money back, his companies’ websites mysteriously disappeared and customers were in turmoil on his social media pages.

Robert – who dressed as a cowboy at Francesca’s Barbie-themed birthday party last year – reportedly received a total of about $15 million from at least 15 different Australian investors for Aurum+ since 2016.

But the shares in his companies were either in Robert’s name or in the names of other companies he controls, rather than those who put their money into his ventures, the Australian Financial Review reported earlier this year.

The investors demanded refunds ranging from $50,000 to $2 million, and it is unclear whether he has since paid them back.
