Future Queen of Spain Princess Leonor, 18, dresses warmly in a chic coat to join her mother Letizia and King Felipe at the opening of Parliament in Madrid
Queen Letizia of Spain is known for her fashion prowess – and if Princess Leonor’s latest appearance is to be believed, it looks like the apple didn’t fall far from the tree.
The 18-year-old heir to the throne joined her parents, including father King Felipe, 55, at the solemn opening of the 15th parliamentary term in the Spanish parliament in Madrid.
For the occasion, Leonor stylishly presented herself in an emerald green dress with a flowing skirt and elegant sleeves, which she combined with a light brown coat and matching heels.
She wore medals around her neck, while she added a touch of glitter to her ensemble with a pair of dainty gold earrings.
Leonor completed her look with a matching coffee-colored clutch bag and added a touch of glamorous makeup to her features.

Her mother, Queen Letizia, 51, looked equally fashionable in a red A-line dress with long sleeves and matching heels, paired with a black cape.
She wore her chocolate brown locks down and swept them behind her ears, revealing a pair of diamond earrings.
The queen wore a glamorous makeup look for the event, with a coral shimmer smokey eye and matching lip color.
King Felipe, meanwhile, looked dapper in a blue tie, white shirt and jacket as he attended the occasion with his family.
His youngest daughter Infanta Sofía probably did not attend the event because she is currently studying at UWC Atlantic College in the Welsh province of Vale of Glamorgan.
The school is often referred to as ‘Hippie Hogwarts’ due to its progressive approach to education and picturesque castle setting.
In October, Princess Leonor received a monumental welcome from royal fans on her 18th birthday.

In a speech delivered to the nation after the ceremony, the princess reaffirmed her commitment to the Spanish people, and in turn asked the Spanish to have faith in her as she stepped up her role and became a queen in training.
And a moving yet poignant moment came when the king presented his daughter with the Collar of the Order of Carlos III, the highest civilian honor in Spain.
