Green with envy! Queen Letizia of Spain turns heads as she stuns in green printed dress at event marking World Mental Health Day

Queen Letizia of Spain looked striking in a stylish green midi dress as she stepped out for a World Mental Health Day celebration in Madrid today.

The 51-year-old monarch turned heads in the elegant Sandro number that she first debuted in 2018 and has worn many times since.

Despite its return, the chic dress looked fresh off the catwalk, and so did the royal, whose slim physique accentuated the dress to perfection.

The outfit was the perfect choice for today’s duties, with The Queen chairing The Institutional Act event to mark World Mental Health Day.

The incredible dress appeared to be sewn with smooth silk and decorated with a delicate pattern in multiple shades of green.

While the top half of her dress featured a crossover v-neck, the bottom half was finished with a pleated design and stopped just below her ankles.

The mother of two, who is usually dressed to impress, made no exception today by pairing the look with luxurious leather accessories.

For shoes, she wore a pair of trendy black slingback pumps, which she paired with a black satchel.

The minimalist Letizia often accessorized her look with just one gold ring and a pair of diamond-encrusted earrings.

The royal’s sleek chocolate locks were parted in the middle, while her tresses were styled in loose waves and placed on her shoulders.

The queen is known for her love of nude makeup and today added a touch of glamor with a glossy nude lip and full black mascara.

The institutional event is held every year on October 10 as part of World Mental Health Day.

This year’s theme focused on ‘Mental Health, Global Health: A Universal Right’ and is part of the World Federation for Mental Health (WFMH) initiative in more than 100 countries.

She was photographed on stage giving a speech to the crowd and mingling with the officials present.

Letizia, ever the busy monarch, was also spotted last week with her husband, King Felipe of Spain, as the proud parents watched Princess Leonor take part in her flag swearing-in ceremony.

Their 17-year-old daughter, heir to the Spanish throne and the title Princess of Asturias, looked regal in military uniform as she stood in formation alongside her fellow cadets.

The ceremony at Zaragoza’s Military Academy was presided over by her father, King Felipe, 55, who was accompanied by Queen Letizia.

While the monarch wore his military uniform, his wife opted for a sleeveless blue and black dress with polka dots, a dropped hem and a fitted waist.

According to tradition, Leonor kissed the Spanish flag during the ceremony after taking an oath of allegiance to her king.

After the Spanish national anthem was played, King Felipe surveyed the troops as he walked in front of his daughter.

The princess, who turns 18 at the end of this month, has rehearsed four hours a day all week, local media report.

Her sister, Infanta Sofía from Spain, 16, was notably absent from the event as she studies at UWC Atlantic College in the Welsh province of Vale of Glamorgan.

The school is often referred to as ‘Hippie Hogwarts’ due to its progressive approach to education and picturesque castle setting.

Leonor’s General Military Academy of Zaragoza, meanwhile, follows a strict timetable during the week, but the princess is free to return home on weekends when she is not maneuvering.
