In a recent video, the 32-year-old mom revealed the warning signs that a hairdresser may not have your hair’s best interest at heart.

Danielle, who hosts her own parenting podcast Keep it informalsaid: “Barber red flags for new clients.”

First, she told hair enthusiasts to avoid stylists if they don’t offer an online or in-person consultation.

It’s also a red flag if they don’t ask you about your hair history, give or offer home care advice, or ask if you’d like to add a toner to your bleaching appointment.

And the biggest red flag of all, says Danielle, is if you leave your appointment unhappy.

She added: “Of course there are more, but here are my top five and the most common ones I hear from my new clients telling me about past experiences!

“Asking a customer if he wants toner had to be the worst thing.”

And her fellow hairdressers seem to agree with her shortlist.

One said: “Omg I can’t even imagine NOT doing a consultation before booking someone.”

Meanwhile, someone else said: “I need advice before I book, people act like I’m crazy and ridiculous for doing that.”

Danielle previously revealed the big mistake people make when washing their hair – and it can ruin your locks.

She said, ‘If you’re washing the ends of your hair, you’re doing it wrong.

“Shampoo is for cleaning your scalp and hair roots.

“Washing the ends can cause tangles and possible breakage.”

She also revealed the three shampoo brands she swears by and always recommends to clients.
