The American housewife, who currently lives with her wealthy husband in Dubai, the hotspot for influencers, took to social media to share the revelation.

In a recent clip, Linda, who calls herself the 'Original Dubai Housewife', claimed she gained 40 pounds during her pregnancy.

The content creator, who is now nine months pregnant, explained: “The baby only weighs seven pounds so I don't know where the rest of them are.”

She then claimed: “No one warned me, and I certainly didn't sign up for this.

“This [having a baby] is such a big sacrifice for me.

“I love my body and I hate gaining weight.”

Linda also stated that as soon as she gives birth to her daughter, she will pay for weight loss shots.

She said: “People judge me when I say I'm going to take Ozempic straight after I give birth.

“I'm not lying. I'm going to Ozempic.”

Linda added that people have warned her about the dangers associated with the jab, but said: “I've just gained 40 pounds, that's a much bigger problem.”

Ozempic is a prescription-only medication used to treat type 2 diabetes.

Ozempic, also known as semaglutide, is also used as a weight loss medication that makes you feel fuller and less hungry.

But in Britain it is not approved as a weight-loss treatment.

New mothers are advised not to use Ozempic after giving birth as it may affect the baby if the mother is breastfeeding.

There are many side effects associated with taking Ozempic, including abdominal pain, constipation and diarrhea.

Not only this, but a study has found that trend weight loss pills, such as Wegovy and Ozempic, can 'increase the risk of fatal intestinal complications'.

Data from more than 5,000 patients showed that even previously healthy users were at greater risk of pancreatitis, intestinal obstruction and gastric paralysis.

The conditions may require surgery to repair and can be life-threatening if left untreated.

Injections such as Wegovy and Ozempic are booming in Britain as they banish hunger pangs and promote rapid weight loss.

But the University of British Columbia study found that dieters who used them were nine times more likely than normal to develop pancreatitis.

This is accompanied by swelling of the pancreas and can cause pain and vomiting.

Their risk of intestinal obstruction or gastric paralysis was four times higher than average.

What do you need to know about Ozempic?

Sophie Trotmana nutritionist, told Fabulous: “Ozempic, commonly known as semaglutide, is primarily a drug for type 2 diabetes, but it has also recently gained attention for its off-label use in weight management due to its effects on reducing appetite.

“While they may be effective for some, they can also be dangerous if not used under proper medical supervision as they can cause significant gastrointestinal side effects, and the long-term effects on individuals without diabetes are not yet fully understood.

“Common side effects include nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, abdominal pain and constipation, which in some cases can be serious and require discontinuation of the medication.

“Also, because Ozempic suppresses appetite, this can lead to inadequate nutrient intake if not carefully controlled and organised, potentially leading to nutritional deficiencies.

“It is critical to consult a healthcare provider before considering weight loss injections like Ozempic, and to remember that these injections, if used, should be part of a comprehensive lifestyle change, including diet and exercise for sustainable weight management .”

Back in the video, Linda said she makes sure she does things that make her feel better “about being fat” — one of which is taking herself to a luxury spa.

She explained: “A facial starts at $2,000 [£1,500]. But when my husband gave me the money, I said it was $5,000 [£3,900]. He knows me, he doesn't question it.”

Not only this, but she had also booked a nice photoshoot as she added, “To make myself feel better, I booked a photoshoot, it costs $10,000 [£7,800].

“I booked the best and most expensive photo shoot I could find because I had gained 40 pounds. I should be able to spend $10,000 [£7,800] purely for my self-esteem. It's actually worth more than that.”

Linda's lavish spending

  • Chanel handbags £9,425
  • Gold bangles £2,140
  • Botox €600
  • Coffee made from 24 carat gold € 19,-
  • Louis Vuitton heels £3,600
  • Daily Starbucks £6
  • Monthly flower allowance £1,000
  • 'Famous' cakes £18
  • Maternity photo shoot £7,800
  • Facial £1,500

The TikTok clip, which was posted under the username @lionlindaahas clearly left many baffled as it has amassed a whopping 389,600 views in just five days.

Many social media users have used the comments to warn Linda about the dangers of Ozempic.

One person said: “It's coming back! Do not use Ozempic until your hormones return to normal. You will ruin your metabolism!”

Another added: “You don't need Ozempic. Just diet and exercise.”

A third commented: “Once your baby is here, nothing else matters.”

While someone else admitted: “Ozempic is so bad for your health, take it from someone who had to take it and ended up with way more problems than it should solve.”
