At least seven Ukrainian soldiers were shot dead as they surrendered to Putin’s army near the village of Ivanovskoe in the Bakhmut region.

The video shows the Ukrainian prisoners dropping their weapons before crawling out of the trench.

The footage shows them raising their arms to indicate they were unarmed, then falling to the ground with their arms behind their heads.

But in the chilling moment – which The Sun has decided not to show – Russian forces opened fire with machine guns on the defenseless soldiers lying on the ground.

Some reports suggest that the Ukrainian fighters came from the 92nd Separate Assault Brigade or from units assigned to it.

Possibly wounded soldiers were among those executed.

The Public Prosecution Service Ukraine has launched an investigation into the video, which was probably recorded on February 24 Ukrainian Pravda.

Russia is accused of deliberately ignoring the international humanitarian issue lawwith the claim that it committed a premeditated murder.

The video must be checked and verified before it can be used as evidence of a war crimebut initially the shooting seems like an abhorrent violation of the rules of conflict.

According to the Public Prosecution Service, the aggressor state “intentionally slaughtered wounded and unarmed Ukrainian soldiers.”

The office of the Attorney General adds that 19 criminal cases are currently being investigated regarding the murder of 45 Ukrainian prisoners of war.

The deadly incident has been condemned by the Ukrainian parliament Commissioner for Human rightsDmytro Lubinets.

In his Telegram channelHe accused the Russian army of “mercilessly” killing Ukrainian prisoners and ignoring the Geneva Convention.

Lubinets has promised to send official letters to the UN and the International Committee of the Red Cross to publicly document Russia’s “war crimes.”

He said: “For the Russian army, the Geneva Conventions, the rules and customs of war mean nothing.

“They act according to their unspoken ‘conventions’, ‘rules’ and ‘customs’ – cruelty, meanness, baseness.

“Such murders of prisoners of war are not isolated cases. There should be a punishment for them!”

Another top Ukrainian official, Anton Gerashchenko, shared the shocking images in a post on former X Tweet.

He wrote: “Evil must be stopped and punished! Give Ukraine weapons!”

The video began circulating online when the open-source intelligence site, Deep stateposted it on their Telegram channel.

The volunteer-run organization wrote: “Those shot are likely fighters from the 92nd OSHBr or one of the units assigned to them.

“Yesterday it was hoped that the boys from the position were alive and captured, but images released today show the execution of armed forces fighters.”

This is not the first case of Putin’s soldiers being caught on camera executing Ukrainian troops.

According to the Deep State, Russian forces have carried out “many shootings” recently, but only a fraction of them have ended up in public spaces.

A video in December emerged from the kneeling Ukrainian paratroopers with their hands behind their heads at the front in the Russian-occupied Zaporizhia region.

The horrific moment when they are shot down is clearly visible despite the poor quality of the aerial footage.

In Ukraine, the incident is condemned because it shows how Vladimir PutinThe armed forces of ‘are simply not human’.

Previous moving images showed the moment ‘two surrendering Ukrainian troops are mercilessly shot brought down by Russian troops.”

The chilling video shows an unarmed Ukrainian soldier emerging from a trench with his hands above his head.

He apparently obeys the instructions of the Russian invaders and lies face down on the ground.

A second Ukrainian from the 45th Separate Rifle Battalion then emerges from the underground corridor and is quickly shot by a hail of machine gun fire.

The first soldier stands up to see what is happening and is also shot dead in a cloud of smoke.

The earlier incident reportedly took place near Avdiivka.
