They met online when she was just 23 and tied the knot a year later.

The unnamed couple had five sons and three daughters.

Despite initially lying to her about how he makes a living, she decided to have a relationship with the older man.

The woman, from a wealthy family in Sichuan province, China, said: “He said he was single, so our relationship is legal.”

On social media, she showed a certificate stating that they got married in 2015.

She also showed her children's birth certificates, which showed they were born to a surrogate mother in the US.

The couple have spent more than £1.1 million on surrogacy, the woman revealed.

However, her life was turned upside down when she discovered that her husband was reportedly married to someone else.

He moved abroad and suddenly sued her for all the assets he claimed to have provided her over the years.

The young mother is now suing her ex-partner and his family for monthly child support.

According to local reports, she charges £22,165 a month to care for their eight children.

In response, his family offered to raise the children themselves if she was willing to give them up.

Otherwise, they were prepared to take legal action, South China Morning Post reported.

“I can't give my children to him,” the woman said.

The case went to trial in October 2023 and no ruling has yet been made.
