A clingy dad has taken to social media to criticize him for kissing his five-year-old on the lips.

Tom, from Yorkshire (@tom_leeds) slammed trolls accusing him of messing up his son Roman, with some even claiming he risks making the kid “more sensitive to cavities.”

He initially shared a quick kiss with his little one in one video about the color of their eyes earlier this week.

But one commenter wrote: “Just gorgeous both, but don’t kiss him on the lips.”

“I will continue to kiss my son on the lips. thank you,’ replied Tom.

In a sequel videothe father then emphasized that he will continue to show his son affection as long as Roman allows him to.

“I’m concerned that it’s bothering you,” he told viewers, addressing the earlier comment.

“I will kiss my son, my five-year-old child, on the lips as long as I see fit and as long as he allows me, right, because I love him dearly and he is my best friend and one day he will not want me to do and he probably won’t want to have much to do with me. So for now I will continue as I am.’

While most of the comments supported the doting dad, Tom had to address some other concerns.

One bizarre comment even suggested that “you can make your child more susceptible to cavities if you have them and kiss them,” through transfer of bacteria.

Roman joined his father in the video answersaying, ‘Don’t be silly.’

The parent’s frustration was evident in his latest clip — which has more than 15,700 views — when he responded to a poster urging the dicks.

“Don’t kiss your children on the lips,” it read. ‘Because not all people have the right intentions, you know what I mean? Don’t make it acceptable!’

“So the logic here is, if I kiss my five-year-old, he’s going to think he can go and that it’s OK to kiss strangers, strange adults… of course!” joked Tom.

So let’s apply that logic. I can’t have him in my car anymore to take him places because he might get into a stranger’s car and think that’s normal.

“He can’t live in my house anymore because — well, he can just walk into a stranger’s house and think that’s normal.

“Or we can, hear me out now, we can…teach him that he has a mommy and a daddy and it’s normal to kiss them, but to kiss the dodgy Barry on the road is kind of weird. ‘

Many rushed to offer their support and encouraged the father to show their children that he loves him.

“If anyone sees anything other than a father kissing his son, then they’re the ones to look out for,” said one.

A second agreed, noting, “If someone thinks it’s wrong to kiss your child, then they have issues that need to be questioned.” No one is stopping me from giving my baby kisses.’

Elsewhere, someone encouraged, “Your relationship with your boy is natural, you’re doing great.”

“What’s wrong with people,” came a frustrated comment. ‘It’s his SON!!! His father showing him love will one day make him a more gentle loving boy/man!!!”

And other parents also shared their own experiences.

“I will continue to grab my 3 boys by the faces and give them big kisses and give them big kisses,” one wrote. “I love my babies.”

A second added: ‘My daughter is 11, she kisses me on the lips. If I was about to turn my head, she’d think she’d done something wrong.’

‘Oh those people need to jog!!! I kiss my 18 and 16 year old boys!!! Looooveee them to pieces,” shared another.
