I love the Chanel Vibes of this affordable crossbody for under $30

I love Chanel, but I don't like those price tags. I've had my eye on a classic Chanel quilted bag for most of my life, but I'm not an Instagram influencer and I honestly think my money would be better spent on something practical… like a house. But that doesn't mean I don't love and long for those beautiful bags every time I see them, even if they are now beyond vintage.

One day I noticed that I needed a small, simple crossbody that was chic but had enough room and an adjustable strap that actually looked like a crossbody to me. I was excited to find this beautiful bag with a topstitched detail that reminded me of my big C pieces…and it cost less than $30! I found it on Amazon, no less. Honestly, where else could it come from?

The Lola Mae quilted crossbody bag costs just $24 at Amazon, and that means it's about thousands less than you'd spend on a Chanel bag. There's plenty of room in the main zippered compartment for your phone, your wallet, your keys, makeup and whatever else you need. I also carried my inhaler, hand sanitizer, lip balm, and Tic-Tacs without ever feeling like the bag was too full.

The outside pocket, which doesn't have a zipper, is a great option for tickets or something you need to access quickly, like if you're at a concert, etc. But the inside is so big that I rarely use mine. One thing I do appreciate is the addition of a chain strap with an adjustable top strap so I get the best of both worlds. You couldn't really wish for a better setup.

It may not have the double CI love, but using this bag definitely makes me feel a little more luxurious. It's lightweight, chic and affordable. Plus, I have the black one, but it comes in a rainbow of colors. I think the pink version might be next for me if I ever get tired of using this one.
