An elegance coach has revealed the nine styles of winter boots that can ‘downgrade’ your outfit.

Anna Bey, who splits her time between London and Geneva, warned her viewers not to rely on certain types of shoes to complete their stylish ensembles.

The renowned lifestyle guru, who “helps women improve themselves so they can live their best lives,” gave the advice in her latest video on YouTube, where she has 1.77 million subscribers.

She claimed that different types of boots look ‘cheap’ and ruin more expensive outfits – including denim, platform and sock options.

The YouTuber also suggested that her fans avoid colorful designs, instead insisting that they stick to more neutral colors unless their own personal style is quite bright and vibrant.

Anna explained: ‘Colorful boots can potentially work if you are very creative in your style and really choose the right type of creative and dramatic looking items that are very colorful and eye-catching.

‘…You should usually choose boots in a fairly neutral color – also here will be exceptions to this rule – but unless you’re advanced in your fashion styling, don’t experiment with this sort of thing.’

She added, “If you’re interested in a feminine style, then I highly recommend that you buy knee-high boots with laces. They always look very elegant and sophisticated and will definitely take your look to the next level.’

Anna then emphasized the importance of styling your platform boots to prevent your outfit from being ‘downgraded’.

‘The great thing about platforms is that they are intended to fool you Mind you, you’re not supposed to see them,” the elegance coach suggested.

As an example of how platform boots can be styled to ensure an “elegant” look, Anna said that pants that provide coverage and go all the way to the floor are a great option to use.

The elegant coach then emphasized that those who strive for a stylish style, instead of wearing sock boots, should simply opt for classic sneakers for an understated ensemble.

Anna also suggested to her viewers not to wear Moon Boots, but admitted: ‘They, they’re actually quite popular in the mountains.

The elegance coach also called denim boots ‘cheap’ and trendy diamond sock boots ‘bizarre’.

However, Anna did admit: ‘IIf someone really understands how to style something like that, it will work, but if you want a classic and timeless style, this shoe will do you a disservice, that’s for sure.”

Last month, the elegance coach revealed ways to “cheapen up your appearance” and warned her viewers against over-whitening their teeth or wearing too much perfume.

She claimed that ‘harsh’ make-up, obvious facial hair and striking nails that are decorated all result in a less elegant look for those who want a stylish appearance.

Anna said her suggestions were to “refine some of the details that may be holding back your presentation.”

Firstly, the elegance coach emphasized that wearing too much perfume should be avoided, explaining: ‘YYou always have to take the people around you into account.

‘There oneThere are many people who are allergic to perfume or people like me with a medical condition who actually react and get nauseous when we smell your incredibly strong perfume.

‘So be aware of how much perfume you spray, because your perfume may actually not smell that nice.’

Anna then revealed how to avoid tattooed makeup such as permanent eyeliner, eyebrows and lip liner.

If viewers wanted to try the permanent makeup, the elegance coach discussed how a lip tattoo should be the same color as your lips, while eyebrow tattoos shouldn’t be ‘too strong’ in shape.

Anna then admitted that she had cosmetic dental work done because she was “born with terrible teeth,” adding, “It’s been a huge pain in my life, so I definitely know a lot about this chapter.”

She continued, “When choosing the color of your veneers or crowns, don’t choose the whitest. It won’t look good. It’s going to look so fake.

‘One thing you need to be aware of is that your veneers will change color slightly over time. They get a little darker so you can go a little lighter.

‘Just don’t go for the lightest one, because it doesn’t look nice. That certainly cheapens the presentation and I would say the same would apply if you were doing traditional teeth whitening, natural is always best.”

The elegance coach also urged her viewers to be “mindful” when trimming facial hair, encouraging them to stay away from “crazy long eyelash extensions.”

Anna further claimed in her clip that elegant ladies should opt for more natural makeup and nails.

“Two things happen when people apply makeup that is too harsh for their skin tone,” the expert said.

“They actually look older, and number two, harsh makeup can make you look a little more aggressive, so if you don’t want that kind of energy in your presentation, be aware of that.”
