Incredible plan for a $1 billion megayacht called ‘Colossea’ that comes with its own AIRSHOP with a cheeky nod to Elon Musk
Amazing plans have been revealed for a $1 billion megayacht that will come with a detachable airship.
The flashy float, named “Colossea”, stuns in a presentation video showing off its sheek design and making a cheeky nod to the multi-billionaire Elon Musk.
The 200-meter-long ship is the brainchild of the Italian design studio Lazzarini functions an incredible airship that is independent of the main line hunt structure.
The vessel can depart from Colossea and embark on an adventure, taking passengers on scenic aerial tours of the paradise in which they are anchored.
When the captain decides it is time to fly, the yacht follows procedures to unlock the electromagnetic blocks that hold the airship in place and release the winches to release the airship’s lift.
In a presentation video, the megayacht is seen in all its glory as it sails along the ocean, surrounded by beautiful mountains and mist.
The main color scheme is minimalist and stylish and consists of white, navy blue and beige.
Guests on board can expect five-star treatment as they are treated to a huge swimming pool on the top deck next one to the helicopter launch pad.
The sprawling nave also has four floors with opulent interiors and wood paneling.
But the star of the show is the breathtaking airship, which slowly emerges from a capsule on top of the ship and takes to the sky.
You can see the plane flying next to the ship before a cheeky sign appears saying, “Elon, get in touch.”
It is believed that this is Lazzarini’s attempt to gain public attention company magnate to try to get him on board the ambitious project.
The aircraft, with a payload of 10,000 kg, can accommodate up to 24 passengers, plus ten crew members.
The yacht offers 22 guest suites and multiple swimming pools for a total cargo capacity of up to 44 guests and 20 crew members.
Lazzarini says: “On the Colossea yacht, the airship reinterprets its iconic design with today’s materials and technologies, proposing the same dimensions as the 1924 model, with improved materials, layout and propulsion.
“The megayacht Colossea is an itinerant floating docking station for the detachable airship.
“Colossea is a concept design, but the estimated cost for actual construction is approximately $1 billion.”
The chic ship is a tribute to the airship N1, later renamed Norge, which completed the first trip to the North Pole in 1926.
The Norge was a semi-rigid Italian-built airship that was also the first aircraft to fly over the intermediate polar ice cap Europe And America.
It comes as a new 230ft superyacht will be built which focuses on offering guests an elegant five-star wellness experience at sea.
Dubbed a ‘floating spa’, the luxury boat comes with a beautiful infinity pool, a state-of-the-art gym, a massage room, a plunge pool and six luxury suites for living.
