The shelter was spinning luxury party resort extends over nearly 15,000 square feet, 26 feet below the Nevada desert.
It features five bedrooms, six bathrooms, a bar and gaming lounge, a swimming pool, a guest house and no see-through windows, giving the owner complete privacy.
You will also find a barbecue area, a six-hole putting green and a dance floor with a stripper pole.
The house was built in 1978 by entrepreneur Jerry Henderson and his wife Mary.
Instead of the city lights of the Strip or the surrounding mountains, owners can wake up to hand-painted murals of where the Hendersons had houses in: above New York, Colorado, Los Angeles and the San Francisco Bay area.
The mid-century style home measures approximately 6,000 square feet and resembles the home in Las Vegas at the time.
Even when there is no sunshine, wind or rain, you can adjust the entire underground lighting system to reflect dusk, dawn or complete pitch black.

“The famous Las Vegas Underground House offers the ultimate underground playhouse for pool parties,” it said.
“This playland is built in an underground bunker, buried beneath a one-acre estate.
“The bunker includes an indoor, underground, pool/spa waterfalls, house, guest house, garden, trees and views, all in your chosen temperature setting, 365 days a year.”
Upstairs you get another entire above-ground house, built by Jerry's wife Mary after her husband died in 1983.
But the nice features don't seem attractive enough to buyers as the owner struggles to move the house.
The infamous Las Vegas Underground House was previously for sale in 2019 for $18 million.
It then received a significant price cut in January 2021 before listing at its current price in February 2023.
The Society for the Preservation of Near Extinct Species, a secretive society that aims to extend the human lifespan, paid $1.15 million for it in 2014.
The association partially renovated it, allowing internet and cell phone services, but chose to keep most of the 1970s-style furnishings.
Society member Tee Thompson oversaw the property and lived in the house.
He told Las Vegas Review-Journal: “That was (the Hendersons') idea to use it as a Cold War bunker and a reflection of the era in which they lived.
“Their concerns were justified to them, so they built a house 7 meters underground. This was their daily home.”
“I get to choose whether I want it day, night, sunset or sunrise,” Thompson told the Review Journal of life in the house.
“When it's dark, it's pitch black and it's very peaceful and quiet. I don't hear the outside elements.
'It's beautiful to be down here. If you're not focused on what you're doing, you lose track of time.'
