I asked my Instacart shopper to get me lemons, his replacement was an outrageous failure

A CUSTOMER was left confused after receiving a strange replacement for one of her groceries.

She wondered if she was crazy after not receiving her lemons.

TikToker Charlotte Rose (@charlotterose251) said the incident was a “huge loss”.

“I ordered Instacart to get some groceries and I ordered some lemons. Right?” she said. “Pretty easy.”

“There’s nothing complicated about picking a few lemons,” she continued.

But there was a problem because the store was out of lemons.

Her Instacart shopper tried to resolve the issue.

She said the person did not mark the lemons as out of stock on the app.

So she wasn’t asked if she wanted a refund, or if she wanted a replacement.

Then she held up a box of fake lemons.

“My Instacart shopper thought these fake plastic lemons would be a suitable substitute for a pound of real lemons,” Charlotte said.

“Am I crazy or does this make no sense?” she asked. “Like, what do I do with this?”

People in the comments section had a lot to say.
