IPL 2024: LSG Spinner Keshav Maharaj visits Ram Mandir in Ayodhya ahead of the opener clash against Rajasthan Royals

New Delhi: Lucknow Super Giants spinner Keshav Maharaj has visited Ram Mandir in Ayodhya. LSG will play their opening match against Rajasthan Royals at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur. Besides him, LSG skipper KL Rahul had also visited the Mahakaleshwar temple in Ujjain district of Madhya Pradesh.

Maharaj shared a photo on Instagram where he is at Ram Mandir, here is the photo.

It was Maharaj’s wish to visit the temple as he told the media earlier this year that he was looking forward to visiting the Ram Mandir. The spinner, who served as captain of Lucknow Super Giants’ sister franchise, Durban’s Super Giants in SA 20, said the Lucknow franchise could help him in the future and it could be a fun family outing.

“Unfortunately, schedule did not allow me to visit during the temple dedication. But in the future I would definitely like to visit the temple in Ayodhya.”

“Keep your fingers crossed. Maybe we can sort that out in the future. Maybe the Lucknow franchise can help. My family has always wanted to go on a pilgrimage to India. So maybe it will be a nice family outing to go to Ayodhya,” said Maharaj.
