Dancing On Ice fans were all amazed by the same thing during the semi-final on Sunday evening.

Viewers were baffled as to why the contestants were tasked with flying on the ice instead of skating.

Amber Davies, Miles Nazaire, Adele Roberts, Greg Rutherford and Ryan Thomas all attempted to fly through the air for most of their performance.

But some viewers were left disappointed by the lack of skating so close to the finals.

‘Not a fan of this air thing! No skating skills have been demonstrated up there!’

‘#DancingOnIce doesn’t like dancing over ice. Change the name of the show.”

“I don’t really see the point of flying around the ice, it would have been more interesting if they had used a prop like in previous series.”

‘Well, that suited Amber… no skating at all. 10s……….FFS, what a joke. Now tell me this isn’t an agenda for her to win. 100% a solution.’

‘This whole “flying” nonsense is ridiculous! Amber moved about three feet on the ice during the entire routine. This should be the semi-final!’

“This is the dumbest week of dancing on ice I’ve ever seen.”

Amber and her skating partner Simon Senecal scored a whopping 40 points for their beautiful dance – the highest score on the evening’s leaderboard.

Adele and Mark Hanretty, who danced last, received 39 points for their emotional performance.
