Getty Images(3)Jason Kelce And Travis Kelce thank you Taylor Swift fans won the top prize at the 2024 iHeartPodcast Awards after their “New Heights” podcast.
“This is an incredible honor, especially for two jabronies like us,” Jason, 36, said at the time accepting the award for Podcast of the Year on Monday, March 11. “Receiving an award like this is beyond humbling and we would be remiss if we did not immediately thank all the 92 percent – aka Swifties – who voted for us to win this award.”
Travis echoed the sentiment by calling “New Heights” listeners “the best fan base in the world.”
“You guys make this show what it is,” the 34-year-old Kansas City Chiefs continued. “We really appreciate it. Thanks again to [the] iHeartPodcast Awards. To the 92 percent: thank you too.”

In recent months, fans have also been able to gain perspective on Travis’ relationship with Swift, 34, that might not have been possible without the podcast.
After attending Swift’s Eras tour stop in July 2023, Travis complained during an episode of “New Heights” that he didn’t get the chance to meet the singer and give her a friendship bracelet with his phone number.
The pair made their relationship public just two months later, with Swift admitting the move caught her attention.
“This all started when Travis adorably confused me on his podcast, which I thought was metal as hell,” she said in her December 2023 post. TIME profile. “We actually had a significant amount of time that no one knew, which I’m grateful for because we got to know each other.”
While Travis’ relationship with Swift remains strong, so does his bond with his brother.
In a recent interview, Jason talked about how special it is to spend quality time with Travis away from the football field.

“Before that, we went months on our own deal without talking,” he said on the February 9 episode of the series “Green Light with Chris Long” podcast. “We texted, you sent a funny video or something like that. But actually sit down and talk to him? It would take a long time. If we do this once a week, we’ll sit down and talk, and we’ll have very meaningful conversations, fun conversations, and really know where each of us is in our lives. That’s the best part about it.”
The fact that listeners from all over the world are enjoying it is just the icing on the cake.
“We absolutely love making this podcast every week,” Jason said during his acceptance speech, “and it’s beyond rewarding when we find that it resonates with so many people and that they get joy out of it because we certainly have a lot of put in.
