Jennifer Lopez doesn’t need mistletoe to steal a kiss from husband Ben Affleck as he glances at his phone on Christmas shopping trip with their mothers

Jennifer Lopez couldn’t contain her passion for her husband Ben Affleck while the two were taking care of some last-minute Christmas shopping on Thursday.

The 54-year-old singer and actress leaned in to sneak a kiss with the 51-year-old Gone Girl star while checking out the art and clothing boutique Maxfield in West Hollywood.

The loved-up display looked as if it caught Ben by surprise, as he was still staring down at his phone when the Out Of Sight star pulled him close to lock lips.

The display happened amid a family shopping trip that included J.Lo’s mother, Guadalupe Rodrí­guez, and Ben’s mom, Christopher Anne Boldt.

Jennifer was dressed in an eye-catching leopard-print coat after she was seen nearby on Thursday in a trench coat while doing some additional shopping just with her mother while Ben and his mom were elsewhere.

Jennifer’s brown-and-black coat for the family trip featured wide lapels that were fanned out across her shoulders.

She wore the double-breasted look buttoned up and belted across her slim waist.

The rest of her ensemble appeared to be relaxed, and she had on a plain black top mock turtleneck top with matching slim black pants.

Despite the rain on and off on Thursday in the Greater Los Angeles area, the If You Had My Love singer fearlessly showcased a set of knee-high black suede boots.

She accessorized with a classic black Hermès Birkin bag, and she looked chic in large wire-frame sunglasses with a barely present amber tint.

Jennifer kept her hair more casual and tied her caramel-colored locks back into a sleek ponytail, which revealed her gold earrings.

Ben rocked a casual-cool look with a double-breasted black pea coat that he wore open to reveal his gray sweater.

He sported his now-standard well-kept dark beard and wore slim black jeans to compliment his in-vogue black-and-white Nike sneakers.

His mother Christopher Anne stayed cozy in a black fleece jacket with a scarlet scarf wrapped around her throat.

She wore gray pants with green trainers and showed off a stylish white bob. 

J.Lo’s mom Lupe stood out in a red waffle-knit coat and black-and-white animal-print pants with black shoes.

She carried along a blue cane to help her stay mobile, and her blond hair was styled in a shoulder-length cut.

During the shopping trip, Ben and Jennifer went off on their own to check out some items.

She could be seen perusing handbags hanging on the wall and examining some pearl necklaces and other jewelry at the counter.

While the lovebirds were off to the side, Ben appeared to pull out his phone to show his wife something on it.

The display seemed to move the Hustlers star, as she put an arm around him and leaned in for a quick kiss, even as Ben still had his eyes on the phone.

The two looked as if they were serious about making some purchases, as a salesperson stopped to help them.

After they had taken care of their shopping, the quartet headed out to the curb while joined by an assistant.

Ben looked as if he was on bag duty as he carried the bags out to the large black SUV that arrived to pick up the blended family.

Seemingly missing from the trip were the Oscar winner’s children Violet, 18; Seraphina, 14; and Samuel, 11, while Jennifer’s twins Max and Emme, 15, were also absent.

The trip comes shortly after Jennifer confessed that both she and Ben still have ‘PTSD’ from their first romance more than two decades ago.

In a new interview with Variety, she shared that the emotional scars of their first break still haunt them, but added that they have found peace now that they are ‘older’ and ‘wiser.’

She added: ‘We also know what’s important, what’s really important in life, and it’s not so much what other people think. It’s about being true to who you are.’ 

Jennifer and Ben first became a couple on the set of Gigli and embarked on a relationship that became a flashpoint of attention.

Their eye-catching public appearances, accompanied by the box office disaster of Gigli, were the subject of constant conversation.

Jennifer poured fuel on the fire with the release of This Is Me… Then, which was dedicated to her boyfriend and featured songs about him including Dear Ben.

‘Bennifer’ became a lightning rod for adulation and then mockery, including a memorably acidic parody of them on an episode of South Park.

Trey Parker, co-creator of the cartoon, later asserted he heard gossip that the production assistants started quoting the spoof on the set of one of J-Lo’s films.

‘She got so mad and had to fire people,’ alleged Trey, who is also one of the voice stars on the show. ‘But she kept hearing it in the distance.’

The couple got engaged near the end of 2002 but broke the engagement in late 2003 before ending their relationship entirely in 2004.

In the intervening years, Jennifer married and divorced her third ex-husband Marc Anthony, with whom she welcomed her 15-year-old twins Max and Emme.

Meanwhile Ben married and divorced Jennifer Garner, with whom he amicably co-parents three children – Violet, 18, Seraphina, 14, and Samuel, 11. 

At the moment, she is gearing up for the release of her upcoming album This Is Me… Now, a sequel to her 2002 album This Is Me… Then.

The new record will arrive alongside a companion film whose contents remain a mystery, but that will in some way revolve around her marriage to Ben.

‘As artists, we have to follow our heart and this is me following my heart and doing something that maybe everybody didn’t think was the best idea, but I had to do it,’ said Jennifer, whose new album will also be about the marriage.

She declined to specify whether the movie will be a documentary or a scripted project, preferring to leave the reveal until the picture comes out.

‘You have to see it and you’ll have to experience it to understand it,’ the Jenny From The Block hitmaker deftly teased.

‘That’s why I call it a “musical experience.” Because there’s music, you can see it, you can hear it and then you’ll get to live it.’
