Jessica Biel does Elf on the Shelf tradition for sons Silas, Phineas
Jessica Biel is just like us and constantly tries to make Elf on the Shelf exciting for her children.
“We are also big fans of Elf on the Shelf in this household,” 41-year-old Biel joked on Saturday, December 23. TikTok video, while holding one of her sons. “Serious fans. It’s a lot of work, guys. All of December? Who made that plan? No one who has children has made that plan. My child loves it.”
Biel shares sons Silas, 8, and Phineas, 3, with her husband, Justin Timberlake. The two boys enjoyed seeing the crazy antics their house elf gets up to every morning.
“Thank you to the interwebs for all your fantastic ideas. I stole all your ideas,” the actress added in her TikTok video. “It makes my life and work so much easier.”
Elf on the Shelf is an Advent calendar-like tradition, where many parents move an elf toy around the house every day in humorous and silly positions. According to mythology, the elves report to Santa Claus every evening.
“Have an elf visit your house for the entire month of December, they said it would be a magical experience,” Biel captioned her post.

Biel has been married to the ‘NSync alum, 42, since 2012 after five years of dating. Three years after they tied the knot, they became parents for the first time and welcomed Silas. Phineas followed five years later.

While Biel and Timberlake, who renewed their vows in October 2022, enjoy raising their sons, there is one part of parenthood that Sweets star is scared.
“I’m terribly nervous about it [Silas and Phineas becoming teenagers]. God, I mean, it’s terrifying,” Biel joked Entertainment tonight in June. “What is going to happen to these children? What they have to go through in puberty, it’s hard being a child. I tell that to my eight-year-old all the time.”
She continued, “I was like, ‘Dude, it’s hard being eight. I get it.’ And then I’m going to help him realize that it’s hard to be 41. He just looks at me like, ‘What? You don’t matter. ”
