Joshua Jackson has agreed to joint custody of their three-year-old daughter, Juno Rose Diana, in his ongoing split from Jodie Turner-Smith.

The Fatal Attraction star, 45, responded in legal documents reviewed by The explosion to last month’s divorce filing from the 37-year-old model-actress, who agreed with his estranged husband that they share “irreconcilable differences.”

The Dawson Creek alum said he also agreed with Turner-Smith, who has appeared in films such as Queen & Slim, The Independent and White Noise, about immediately following the terms of the prenuptial agreement they signed before their wedding had closed.

Turner-Smith’s divorce filing shocked the Hollywood community as the relationship ended after nearly four years of marriage.

The couple started dating in 2018 — two years after he split from Diane Kruger — and married in August 2019. Jackson and Turner-Smith welcomed daughter Juno Rose Diana in April 2020.

Turner-Smith filed for divorce last month, citing “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for the split.

The Vancouver-born actor, who has appeared in films including Cruel Intentions, Gossip and One Week, said he disagreed with Turner-Smith over the stated date of separation.

Turner-Smith, who has appeared in TV shows including Sex Education, The Last Ship and Jett, had September 13, 2023 listed in legal documents as the day they split. Jackson said it actually took place on September 30, 2023. The difference in dates is not expected to have any impact on the progress of the ongoing divorce case.

Turner-Smith, citing privacy concerns, has asked a private judge to oversee their settlement, the outlet reported. Famous divorce lawyer Laura Wasser represents her in the divorce.

In September 2022, the pair sparked split rumors after unfollowing each other on social media – having previously shared several loved-up posts.

Both stars have been seen publicly following their divorces: Turner-Smith was seen at the GQ Men of the Year Awards in London on November 15, as well as at the 2023 LACMA Art+Film Gala on November 4.

Jackson was seen at a Todd’s Winter ’23 Collection event in West Hollywood, California on November 11 during his first red carpet outing since the split.

Before that, the actor was pictured getting cozy with Oscar-winning actress Lupita Nyong’o at Janelle Monae’s The Age of Pleasure concert in Inglewood, California in October.

DailyMail.com exclusively reported on October 3 that Jackson is ‘not happy’ with the end of his marriage – while insisting that there was no foul play involved and that their union had simply ‘run its course’.

“Joshua is heartbroken about the impending divorce. “He always thought he would get married and grow old with his family and everything would be happily ever after,” the insider said. “He had the dream scenario in his head, and Jodie was his person and the person he thought he would be forever.”

The source added that Joshua’s main concern is his young child, as the Canadian actor is now looking ahead to a life of co-parenting.

“He never wanted this for their daughter,” the insider continued. ‘They are both great parents and will continue to be, he is just sad that they will no longer be together as a couple for their daughter. Through her they will always remain connected.’

The source said that Jackson “would have wanted nothing more than to still be with Jodie and in a perfect world would probably even take her back if she stopped the divorce, but now that they’ve gotten here, so will he” to accept it.’
