Kate Middleton looked ‘happy’ during outing with Prince William: report

The 42-year-old Princess of Wales was reportedly spotted at the Windsor Farm Shop on Saturday, March 16. British newspaper The Sun. Kate was reportedly accompanied by William, 41, and onlookers told the publication she looked “happy, relaxed and healthy.”
Kate and William also reportedly spent that morning watching their children — Prince George, 10, Princess Charlotte, 8, and Prince Louis, 5 — take part in various sporting activities.
Kate has largely stayed out of the public eye since December 2023, undergoing abdominal surgery the following month. Kensington Palace announced in January that Kate would not be involved in royal engagements until after Easter.

“The operation was successful and she is expected to remain in hospital for ten to fourteen days before returning home to continue her recovery,” said a statement shared via the palace’s official X account. “Based on current medical advice, it is unlikely that she will resume her public duties until after Easter.”
William, meanwhile, also took a short break to help Kate recover before resuming his own public duties. A source said this earlier We weekly that Kate had no plans to share details about her surgery yet. “She slept in and enjoyed lots of visits from Prince William and the kids,” the insider said, noting that Kate “may reveal more information in due course.”

The talk escalated when Kate released a photo of her and her children on Mother’s Day. Several photo agencies later claimed that the photo appeared manipulated and that it had been pulled by several outlets. Instagram has also placed a warning at the bottom of the image that it is being changed.
Kate herself issued a public statement on March 11 to address the photo editing scandal, writing via X: “Like many amateur photographers, I experiment with editing from time to time. “I wanted to apologize for any confusion the family photo we shared yesterday caused.”
