The Prince and Princess of Wales are looking for a festive fir in Windsor Great Park with their two eldest children, Prince George and Princess Charlotte.

Kate and Prince William, both 41, were visiting the Christmas Tree Shop in the Berkshire countryside when they were spotted by a royal fan who shared a photo of the royal family members on Facebook.

In the snap, which has since been deleted, William talks to a man thought to be a member of staff, while George, ten, and Charlotte, eight, view the trees on offer.

Kate, wearing gray jeans, brown boots and a matching jacket, appears to be walking behind her children while holding a pair of gloves in one hand.

Her hair hangs down, similar to that of Charlotte, who wears festive red trousers, brown rubber boots and a blue padded jacket, similar to her brother’s.

The Prince and Princess of Wales and their children live in Adelaide Cottage near Windsor Castle, in Windsor Home Park.

It is unclear exactly when the family visited the Christmas Tree Shop in Windsor Great Park, but the image was shared on Sunday.

The store runs until December 18, while supplies last, and is open from 11am to 7pm on weekdays and from 9am to 5pm on weekends.

The website says: ‘Visit the Christmas Tree Shop at Windsor Great Park and our forestry team will help you choose from a selection of felled trees ranging from 4ft to 4ft to 15ft.

‘Sustainably grown in Britain, with many sourced from Windsor Estate, you can choose from a traditional Norway Spruce, Nordmann Spruce or (new this year) the vibrant and traditional Blue Spruce.

‘For those who would like to grow their trees, we also offer potted Norway spruce and Nordmann fir trees, ranging from 6.5 to 1.20 metres.

‘And if it’s just something for the table, choose from one of our regular favorites: a miniature tree in a pot.’

Kate’s now traditional festive event will be attended by members of the royal family, with the King and Queen likely to join the gathering as they did last year, alongside the Princess’s husband William and her eldest two children, Prince George and Princess Charlotte.

In a sweet photo announcing the news, the princess is shown pruning a Christmas tree in a £179 Fair Isle Jumper from Holland Cooper, which she first wore last year while reading a bedtime story on CBeebies.
