Khloe Kardashian finally acknowledges her ex Tristan Thompson’s ‘other son’, whom he fathered behind her back with Maralee Nichols

Khloe Kardashian finally came forward about ex Tristan Thompson’s cheating son Theo, whom he fathered during an illegal tryst with Maralee Nichols in 2021.

The reality star, 39, who welcomed son Tatum with Thompson, 32, just seven months after giving birth to Theo, addressed infidelity and her ex’s desire to resolve his issues with her family members on Wednesday’s episode of The Kardashians.

She said: ‘In this family, if you do something to one of us, it affects everyone and they are entitled to their feelings. It’s not something small that happened

He replied, “No, I hear you.” as Kardashian said, “Time has passed. It’s finished.

“My son is here, your other son is here and some of their emotions have settled down – not forgotten, not forgiven, all of that – just settled down.”

Unbeknownst to Khloe, Tristan had impregnated Maralee in March 2021 and was informed of her pregnancy as early as July 2021.

Despite knowing he would have a baby on the way with another woman, Tristan withheld the news from Khloe and encouraged her to go through with their surrogacy.

An embryo transfer was successfully completed in November 2021, just a week before DailyMail.com would exclusively reveal that Tristan was expecting a child with Maralee – who gave birth to Theo in December 2021.

Although he initially denied being the child’s father, Tristan took to Instagram in January 2022 to confirm that he had taken a paternity test and was in fact Theo’s father. He also stated that he planned to “amicably” co-parent with Maralee.

Tristan apologized to Khloe, who he has cheated on numerous times in the past, including when she was pregnant with their daughter True in 2018.

In March, Kardashian was criticized on social media for praising Thompson for his parenting skills – despite the series chef reportedly shunning his one-year-old son who was born after an illicit hotel affair.

The outrage came from The Kardashian star, who wished the NBA player a happy 32nd birthday and shared photos showing their newborn son’s face for the first time.

Kardashian bestowed the title of “best dad” on Tristan as she shared photos of him doting on their two children: daughter True, four, and the baby boy whose name they have yet to reveal.

Khloe and Tristan conceived their newest addition via surrogate, but they split before he was born after it was revealed Tristan had fathered a baby boy named Theo with Nichols, 31.

The NBA star’s relationship with Theo appears non-existent, prompting Twitter to go nuclear on Kardashian and ask, “Good dad?” What about little Theo?’

One Twitter user captioned a bewildered toddler’s comical expression with: “@khloekardashian how can Tristan be the best dad when he abandoned one of his children?!”

Another critic compared the former couple’s cringeworthy relationship history to “humiliation,” while someone else chimed in: “Not @khloekardashian calling Tristan the best dad [laughing emoji] the world is really coming to an end.’

One troll did give the reality star some helpful advice, tweeting, “Khloe Kardashian. Better to turn them off on your Insta post about Tristan being a good father. You forgot about that new baby didn’t you!!?? He hasn’t even met him yet!!

Khloe followed that advice and turned off her Instagram comments, but the negative comments continued to spread across Twitter: “@khloekardashian Tristan is not a good father. He has another child he hasn’t even met yet. Please be careful. You’re out of touch.’

Nichols apparently responded to the uproar in a subtle way when she posted a heartwarming photo to her Instagram Story of herself cuddling the adorable little boy.

Khloe’s controversial post seemed to reference Tristan’s various infidelities, as Khloe described hoping he would continue to desire “change, healing and transformation” in the future.

She also referenced his late mother Andrea Thompson, who recently died of a heart attack. “Continue making your soul and your mother proud,” Khloe posted.

The full post began: “Happy birthday @realtristan13. You are truly the best father, brother and uncle. Your love, attention, crazy dances, hugs, carpool rides, bedtime rituals, the way you stand up for them.

“All of the above means more than you will ever know to your family of small children. My birthday wish for you is that you continue to desire change, healing and transformation.

‘Be strong, be kind, be patient, be free. Continue making your soul and your mother proud. Happy birthday dad.’

The second season of The Kardashians began with Khloe welcoming her second child with Tristan via a surrogate, although in the second episode it was revealed that the premiere episode was actually filmed in August 2022, with the rest of the season taking place several months earlier.

The first season ended with the revelation that Tristan had fathered a child with another woman, and that woman was Maralee.

Khloe and Tristan started dating in 2016 while his ex-girlfriend Jordan Craig was pregnant with their now five-year-old son Prince. Are public scandals initially broke out just days before Kardashian welcomed their first child together, daughter True Thompson, in 2018.

Despite the public cheating, the couple reconciled and stayed together until their split in February 2019 after he was seen kissing Kylie Jenner’s then-BFF Jordyn Woods.

To fans’ dismay, Khloe reunited with the athlete sometime during the COVID-19 pandemic while she was quarantining at Khloe’s Hidden Hills home. They have since split following the paternity scandal.
