Kourtney Kardashian excitedly announces ‘eleven season has begun’ as she gets into the holiday spirit in new festive video – weeks after welcoming son Rocky

Kourtney Kardashian excitedly declared that “elf season has begun” while decorating her home for the holidays in a new video shared to her Instagram Stories on Monday.

The 44-year-old Poosh founder — who recently stayed home with husband Travis Barker and their newborn son Rocky for Thanksgiving — gave a brief glimpse into a special tradition her family enjoys at Christmas.

The TV personality filmed a cardboard sled with Elf on the Shelf dolls taped to paper plates to make it look like they were sliding down.

She added a festive, instrumental tune in the background of the film and typed to her fans and followers “the elf season has begun.”

Next to the ‘elf sledding’ there was a large, green Christmas tree full of glowing lights, but it still needs to be filled with decorations.

The reality star seems to be a big fan of the holiday, most notably hosting the annual Kardashian-Jenner Christmas Eve party last year.

She was accompanied by her family, including her husband and his own children. Other celebrities were also in attendance, such as Chandelier singer Sia.

Kris Jenner also followed the Elf on the Shelf theme, uploading a clip to her own Instagram Stories earlier on Monday.

She filmed the short video by showing off an assortment of elf dolls meant for her thirteen grandchildren, including Kourtney and Travis’ newborn baby boy, Rocky Thirteen.

The star could be heard saying, “It took me a few minutes to get this together, but look what I got from Elf on the Shelf!”

“How cute is this?” Kris asked as she showed each doll in a small container that also had each of the grandchildren’s names on the front.

Jenner closed the video by saying, “I think it’s time! Thank you Elf on the Shelf. This is so cute.’

She then showed off a stack of sticker books that will also be given to her grandchildren and exclaimed, “Merry Christmas!”

While some of her family members — including sisters Kendall and Kylie and ex Scott Disick — spent Thanksgiving in Palm Springs with Kris Jenner, the Poosh founder stayed home with the Blink-182 drummer and their son.

However, the couple hosted their own intimate party and the reality star shared a glimpse of the evening on social media.

The beauty showed off an ornately laid table with an autumn-themed floral display in the center as well as a variety of candles.

She also previously hosted a Thanksgiving dinner in honor of her husband’s 48th birthday, which included vegan options, followed by a screening of the new Thanksgiving horror film.
