Kourtney Kardashian reveals her baby’s gender as Travis Barker does a drumroll

Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker delighted friends and family when they revealed the gender of their first child together.

In an Instagram post from Saturday, the 44-year-old reality star and 47-year-old Blink-182 drummer looked totally in love as they waited for the surprise.

Kourtney emphasized her growing baby bump in a form-fitting top as she sat on Travis’s lap on a platform where his drum kit was assembled while a crowd stood around.

The drummer demonstrated his impeccable showmanship by making an anticipation-boosting roll on his snare drum, even though he had to take his eyes off it because Kourtney leaned in for a long, passionate kiss.

But as soon as he landed a final blow on his cymbals, a burst of baby blue confetti and streamers shot into the air, revealing that the lovebirds will be welcoming a boy.

Kourtney was dressed for the event in a form-fitting white long-sleeved top that clung to her voluptuous figure and showed off the curve of her pregnant belly.

Travis mirrored her in his white tank top and covered his shaved head with a black beanie.

The rocker held his drumsticks with his arms on either side of his wife as she lovingly placed a hand on his free thigh.

The clip was filmed on a phone by someone in the crowd, and the sound of the gale force wind made it hard to hear the lovebirds, but in the midst of the noise you could hear Travis say, “Tell me when you’re ready.” ‘

Then he turned to the side of the stage and inquired, “Is our pyroman ready?”

‘I don’t know what’s going on! What you guys were up to,” Kourtney added as she seemed a little unsure about the procedure.

It’s unclear whether either parent learned the sex of the baby before the reveal, or if they were just as shocked as their guests.

Kourtney’s mom Kris Jenner clearly couldn’t wait to find out if she was going to have a girl or boy grandchild.

“Let’s get the party started, we’re all looking forward to it!” she called.

Once Travis got the “all clear” signal, he started a roll on his snare and Kourtney took that signal to tilt her head back to lock lips with him.

Travis smashed his cymbals just as a light explosion erupted from the cannons placed behind them, sending the pale blue streamers flying into the air.

Hopefully, the pair opted for a biodegradable option or had runners on hand to clean up the mess from their sex reveal, as the high winds almost immediately swept the pendulums far away from their place of origin.

The crowd went wild and burst into cheers as soon as they saw the color blue against the dark sky.
