It took a while for them to finally make it down the aisle – which could be one of the reasons the affection the King and Queen have shown each other since then hasn’t waned.

Charles in particular has made a point of behaving kindly, missing few opportunities during their public outings to help Camilla or help her get over some obstacle or another.

It is often the small gestures that make the difference. And as these photos show, they certainly count for Camilla…
