Adam Collard has had a tattoo of his ex-girlfriend's initials removed and the ink on his ring finger removed after calling his girlfriend Laura Woods 'The One'.

The Love Island star, 28, has sparked speculation that his romance with the sports presenter, 36, could take the next step after he visited the NAAMA tattoo removal studio in London last week.

Adam had his ex-girlfriend Claudia Proctor's initials removed from a triangular spot on his forearm, which was blackened after their divorce.

The Lothario was with Claudia in July 2017, the year before his first trip to the Love Island villa.

The personal trainer boasted about his new tattoo on Instagram at the time, with the initials 'CP' above his wrist – just months before he dumped the business graduate due to her 'insecurities due to his large Instagram following'.

Adam later had the initials completely obscured by black ink until he went to the tattoo parlor on Great Portland Street to have the tattoo completely removed, as well as a tattoo of a symbol on his ring finger.

It comes after Adam declared Laura 'The One' in October and revealed his intention to 'get married and have kids' with the TNT sports presenter.

He explained: 'I'm protective, whether it's Laura, or my family, my friends.

'I want to get married. I also want to have children. I always thought: what kind of person will I be? How can I protect my children?

'Obviously I've never had a child, but I don't think I'm going to plaster it all over [social media]. I want them to get a fair fight and not be judged right away.

'As long as those close to me know exactly who I am, it doesn't matter to me. I think you have to take everything with a grain of salt.'

Adam added that he isn't worried about the eight age gap between himself and Laura, saying: 'We're not necessarily your average everyday couple.

“We're both busy a lot and I think I've always punched above my years anyway, I think it's probably exactly all I've needed for a long time.”

Adam went on to discuss his ex-girlfriend Zara McDermott and how he had a 'Z' tattoo on his hand dedicated to her.

After they broke up, he quickly got it covered, but he didn't rule out getting another tattoo dedicated to his current partner.

He said: 'I came out of the villa and Zara had 'AC' on her finger. I thought I would repay the favor as I had stayed at the villa for an extra twelve days.

“I got the hang of it though, it's my second time doing it, and I'll probably do it again.”

For Valentine's Day, NAAMA is offering a free first session to anyone who wants to remove the reference to an ex-lover from their body.
