The sparkling audience certainly had a lot to celebrate, as the new Western series set a record for Paramount+ as the show became the streamer’s most-watched series premiere worldwide this year, per Deadline.

The first two episodes reached 7.5 million viewers worldwide in the first seven days.

Paramount Global reports that the total includes viewership from both Paramount+ and the show’s broadcast on CBS.

This figure surpasses Lawmen: Bass Reeves’ original audience of 3.55 million viewers who watched live or same-day during its back-to-back broadcast premiere on CBS, which more than doubled its initial viewership.
