Married At First Sight took a sharp turn on Monday night when Jack Dunkley was confronted with his relationship status outside the experiment.
During a heated dinner, fellow groom Jayden Eynaud decided to broach the subject.
“Obviously everyone saw the article about Jack,” he began, setting the tone for a confrontation that had Jack rolling his eyes in anticipation.
The article in question stemmed from allegations from a woman named Courtney Jade, who claimed in August that Jack ended their relationship under false pretenses to join MAFS.

She further alleged that he had fabricated an “employment opportunity in America” to cover up his participation on the show.
As the group tried to process the news, Lucinda comically asked, “Who's Jack?”
Jack then defended himself by downplaying his previous relationship as 'casual yet exclusive' before dismissing Courtney as a 'disgruntled ex'.
However, fellow participants Sara Mesa and Richard Sauerman were unwilling to put the matter aside.
They both highlighted inconsistencies in Jack's story.

The plot became even more complicated when Jack accidentally revealed the timing of their breakup, which coincided with his involvement in MAFS.
Speaking to the cameras, Lauren Dunn expressed her frustration with Jack's evasive behavior.
“I feel like I'm going to get a bee in my bonnet over this situation if he just stays full of it,” she said.
