Ryan Gallagher hurt himself with an angle grinder and shared the results of the bloody injury on Instagram.
The Married At First Sight star shared two photos on Saturday of his hand cut jaggedly and bleeding profusely as he explained the accident.
'Thank you to all the RBWH staff who were so incredibly kind this past week. I had a fight with an angle grinder while working on one of my cars,” the 35-year-old wrote in the caption.
He continued, “Which brought my hands, tendons, and index finger back together in my left hand, reattached the tip of my rough finger, and put half of my fingernail back in place.”
Ryan also jokingly thanked his son and his fiancée Emily Seebohm for taking good care of him.

“Sampson is wiping my ass now. “Emily is a powerhouse and I am grateful that she and her family took on for a while what I cannot do for Sampson,” he said.
Former reality star and Olympic swimmer Emily welcomed their son named Sampson Ryan in September.
Ryan quietly changed his public Facebook profile photo on September 13 to show a photo of himself and Emily with their newborn son.
The couple announced their engagement in March last year, after the couple met on The Challenge in 2022.

Ryan presented the swimming star with a diamond trilogy ring from Goulburn's Zantis Jewellers.
“When you know, you know,” Ryan said Women's Day.
'Still, I got nervous. The box made a bit of a bulge in my pocket. So either she knew I was proposing or she just thought I was happy to see her!'
Meanwhile, Emily explained that the couple's quick engagement follows the theme of their blossoming romance.
“We knew in the last week (of The Challenge) that we had feelings there,” she told the magazine.
