United star goes on loan

Manchester United are on the verge of completing their tenth deal of the January transfer window, with Radek Vitek reportedly joining Accrington Stanley on loan.

According to the Manchester Evening News, United have agreed to send Vitek to the Wham Stadium on loan for the remainder of the season, with no option to make the move permanent.

Antony focused on Man Utd

Antony is 'focused' on Manchester United and will return as a 'different' player in the final months of the season, according to the winger's agent.

The Brazilian has been linked with a move to Saudi Arabia this week, with United willing to accept a transfer fee of around £50m for a player they signed for £85m 18 months ago.

His agent Junior Pedroso said: “Manchester have so far shown no interest in signing him in January or summer.

“Antony is focused on these four months of the season so he can improve his performance, knowing he has to score goals and assists.

“This is his focus. Today we have our heads on Manchester United.

“He knows very well that he has to score. There is no point in just playing good games. He has to score goals and provide assists. He is very coherent in that.”

“He will come back differently, his head has become a key and certainly in these four months he will show much more than this season.”
