The 11-year-old son of former world snooker champion was tipped to emulate his father’s success

MARK WILLIAMS’ son has been tipped for success after an impressive performance in a junior tournament.

A video of Joel, 11, at the European Championships in Sarajevo went viral for his hoarding skills.

Despite his young age, he played in the under-16 category, which includes players up to the age of 16.

Williams Sr, 48, is a snooker legend who has been active on the professional circuit since 1992.

He is a three-time world champion, with his most recent World Championship win coming in 2018.

His most successful season came in 2002-03, when he won the illustrious ‘Triple Crown’ consisting of the British Championship, the Masters and the World Championship.
