Married At First Sight British stars Peggy Rose and Georges Berthonneau have confirmed they are still together, months after filming the show’s reunion.

The couple had sparked fears their marriage was over when they were noticeably absent from social media, but have taken to Instagram to confirm they are stronger than ever.

Peggy posted three fun snapshots with her husband Georges, including two beautiful photos taken on their wedding day.

The Technology Risk Partner said they enjoyed some “much-needed quality time together” after the reunion.

Peggy and Georges went through a turbulent time during their time in the MAFS experiment, including their vastly different views on intimacy, and the streamer struggling to win over his wife’s family.

However, months after filming their reunion, Peggy and Georges have confirmed they are happier than ever.

Peggy captioned her post: “CONFIRMED: We are still together! ❤️������

“We took a break from sharing and smothering social media to give ourselves some much-needed quality time after the show ended.

“Although we are in a relationship, we still have our own identity and individuality; that makes us so strong.

“As cliche as this sounds, we want to thank you all for your patience – it hasn’t been easy, but sharing our journey with you means the world because your continued love and support means the world to us.

“Plus, we have even more exciting news: we’ve created joint accounts to share our lives after MAFS. Follow us for more updates. On to the next chapter!’

Although Peggy has shared the exciting news that she and Georges are still going strong, she remained tight-lipped about whether they have consummated their wedding yet during a recent Q&A on Instagram.

She said, “So many of you are asking this question, so I’m going to ask you one back…” followed up with a poll for her followers to share their predictions.

It comes after the MAFS reunion, filmed earlier this year, stunned some viewers as Peggy revealed she and Georges had yet to consummate their marriage.

Reuniting with the rest of the cast, the duo admitted that they were still waiting to go ‘all the way’ three months after their wedding.

Fans of the show shared their disbelief on Twitter/X as they took the opportunity to joke about the couple’s lack of intimacy.

One person jokingly wrote, “The year is 2955. Humanity has evolved to communicate via telepathy and the polar ice caps have just reformed as we enter a mini ice age. Peggy and Georges still haven’t had sex.’

“Peggy wanted children with Georges, someone will have to tell her how that happens,” another added.

‘I can’t believe Peggy hasn’t done anything with Georges yet! She doesn’t like him, poor baba’s self-esteem is in jeopardy,” a third shared.

Someone else wondered: ‘The fact that Peggy still doesn’t want to have sex with Georges is very interesting. Is she disgusted by him in that way or something?’

Another wrote: ‘Rumor has it that Peggy and Georges still haven’t had sex to this day.’

The E4 dating series came to an explosive end on Tuesday when four couples – Ella and JJ, Peggy and Georges, Adrienne and Matt, and Paul and Tasha – decided whether to stay together or split up.

During the show, Peggy and Georges seemed to overcome their differences when they decided to stay together.

After a cliffhanger in the episode Final Vows, Peggy talked about how she trusted Georges to “prove anyone who doubted you wrong” after her family shared their uncertainty about their relationship.

She said: ‘This is by far the biggest decision of my life. My family wants the best for me, and family and respect for me are everything.

‘They want me to be happy and put myself first. As much as I wanted to trust you, to me, trust is something you earn.

‘I may not trust easily, but I do trust myself. And I also trust that you will prove everyone who doubted you wrong. So my decision is to stay and continue our story together.”

Peggy was previously branded ‘disrespectful’ and ‘disgusting’ for her treatment of her husband Georges.

Despite reiterating that he had put his personal training business on hold to appear on the show, both Peggy and her beloved parents – with whom she still lives as a three-year-old – have criticized his employment status, leading to heavy criticism.

Since the show ended, Peggy revealed that she has started her own clothing company, rather than returning to her old job as a Technology Risk Partner.

She told OK!: ‘It’s called Off the Peg Boutique because when I was shopping for wedding dresses I was tall and the only dresses I could find were ready-made dresses… It’s Married at First Sight which I could actually do something. I’m happy about it because I absolutely loved the process.

‘I thought it was a great experience and I thought I haven’t been this happy since I probably moved schools.’
