Jock Zonfrillo’s wife, Lauren Fried, has shared a heartbreaking photo of their daughter Isla sleeping in her late father’s clothes.
The 46-year-old MasterChef Australia judge was found dead in a hotel room at the Carlton last month. He is survived by Lauren, Isla and Alfie, six, as well as his two adult daughters, Ava and Sophia, from his first two marriages.
The two-year-old toddler was seen cuddled up in her car seat with her face in her late father’s gray top.
“Little Isla went to sleep with daddy’s clothes, keep him close,” she wrote alongside the bittersweet photo.
Lauren’s followers shared their love and support for the family, writing, “This has broken me! These beautiful children.’

One added: “He’s a close little one, just in a different way. Love and light to your beautiful babes and strength to you Loz.’
Others sympathized with Lauren’s heartbreak, with one writing, “My sister did this to her fiancé too. Hold him close little one. All the best to you as you journey through the deep Mumma.”
Another commented, “My children’s father passed away almost 19 years ago. They’re still wearing his clothes.’

It comes just days after Lauren posted an emotional update explaining how she’s helping Isla and her six-year-old brother Alfie cope with the death of their father.
Lauren posted photos to Jock’s Instagram of three books she reads to the youngsters to help them understand what happened to their father.
“Books have been a bridge to help me explain to our little ones what happened, what they feel and that love is always around them,” she explained.
Jock died on May 1 at the age of 46. He was buried in May in a private funeral in Sydney surrounded by 200 family and friends.
The media personality was slated for several publicity assignments for season 15 of MasterChef when he passed away suddenly.
Daily Mail Australia can reveal that when police entered the hotel room to conduct a welfare check, officers believed Zonfrillo had died of natural causes and found nothing to suggest otherwise.
No drug paraphernalia were also found in the hotel room, sources said.
In the wake of the tragic news, Zonfrillo’s fellow Masterchef judges Melissa Leong and Andy Allen withdrew from all media appearances to promote the cooking show’s return.
