Megan McKenna suffers a HUGE cake fail after spending £45 on the ‘most beautiful gluten-free’ sweet treats
Megan McKenna was disappointed on Sunday after spending £45 on cakes that were ruined before she got home.
The former TOWIE star, 31, treated herself and her fiancé Oliver Burke to a trio of mini cakes, writing on Instagram: ‘Can’t wait to eat the most beautiful gluten free cake’
One of the overpriced cakes was baked in the shape of a lion, while the other two were simpler with a strawberry on top.
But when Megan later opened the box, she was shocked to see that the cakes had been squashed on the journey home.
A devastated Megan said: ‘We’ve just opened the box of cakes we bought. These cost £45 and it looks like this.’

It comes after Megan outraged fans after admitting she spent £100 on a takeaway curry for two.
The former TOWIE star, 31, treated herself and her fiancé Oliver Burke to a ‘cheat day’ after her recent hospital visit and showed off her Indian takeaway order to her TIkTok followers on Sunday.
Experienced chef Megan said: ‘It’s the only night of the week we’re allowed to have a cheat day. I just ordered an Indian takeaway and it cost £100 so this may as well be!’
The former Celebrity Big Brother contestant had ordered a chicken madras and a chicken korma to contrast each other, but complained she didn’t get an onion salad.
She exclaimed, “What the hell?” but followers initially seemed more alarmed about the overall cost of the curry.

Another said: ‘€100, that’s more than my groceries for the week. How the other half lives.’
A third complained that the total cost of the curry was ‘ridiculous’ but reasoned that it looked ‘delicious’ despite the price.
Megan had put on a white bathrobe with her footballer fiance to put in her curry and some of the sauce ended up on Oliver’s sleeve just after they unwrapped their meal.
Megan was shocked by the stain and sent Oliver to rinse out his sleeve, but was overall happy with her takeaway.
She said, “While Oli washes the arm of his robe, I’m going to assess him. This is beautiful. I’d say this is a nine out of ten, no joke. Banger!’
Megan recently treated herself to a curry when she was alone for the evening, but had to defend herself from trolls who told her she was ‘eating too much’.

Shortly after a medical procedure led to ‘complications’, she was eventually admitted to hospital, where she stayed for six days.
