Mob Wives’ Drita D’Avanzo responds to Renee Graziano’s revelation

Drita D’Avanzo sounds off Renee Graziano‘s revelation that she had an accidental fentanyl overdose last year.

“I don’t like her,” D’Avanzo, 48, said exclusively We weekly on Thursday, March 7 during the discussion of her recent Mob women aesthetic dinner at Ainslie. “But in capital letters, I wish her to find health and peace of mind and wish her nothing bad.”

If Graziano, 55, struggled with addiction, D’Avanzo believes her first Mob women costar deserves support instead of criticism.

“If she’s doing well in her life and trying to get better, I feel sorry for anyone with an addiction,” she explained. “People will put her down on that and I think it’s really fucking wrong. I do not like that. Everyone is addicted to something. You could be addicted to coffee. You can become addicted to food. You could become addicted to cigarettes.”

She continued: “You can be addicted to exercise – there are millions and millions of addictions and it’s hard to get rid of it and if she can overcome it, I wish the best for her.” (D’Avanzo noted that she was unaware of Graziano’s overdose before speaking Us.)

D’Avanzo and Graziano appeared in six seasons of Mob women together. Throughout the Vh1 series, which aired between 2011 and 2016, cameras rolled as the couple’s friendship had dramatic ups and downs.

While D’Avanzo offers some supportive words, she wants to make it clear that she still doesn’t feel comfortable with Graziano since the show ended.

‘Do I love the mother ker? No,’ she said Us. “You can end it like this. But I don’t wish harm on anyone. But I really wish her the best.”

While appearing in Bunnie XO’s “Dumb blondeOn Wednesday, March 6, Graziano revealed that she suffered an accidental fentanyl overdose last year, which nearly killed her.

“I couldn’t catch my breath,” she said as she relived the experience. “I just lost my s–t, man. On September 18, someone gave me a bag of fentanyl, even though that was the intention [an undisclosed drug].”

“I died in a restaurant in Florida,” Graziano continued. “I was dead, intubated for three days. No one in my family came to the hospital and I spent nine days there learning to walk again. That was it for me.”

After her recovery, Graziano decided to get clean and sought help from Odom Recovery Group in November 2023. per TMZ.

On Friday, March 8, the former reality star revealed Instagram that she has been sober for four months.

While Graziano focuses on her sobriety, D’Avanzo is working on a few special – and personal – projects that fans might be able to experience in the future. In addition to planning a new gig with Ainslie, the reality star teased that a scripted series is in the works.
