Former Newsnight anchor Maitlis caught Greene for a chat Donald Trump‘S Mar-a-Lago after the ex-president achieved victories in several states amid his race to reclaim the White House.

Maitlis – who famous interview with Prince Andrew – asked Greene what message she had for Trump challenger Nikki Haley.

She then quizzed Greene, 49, about her prospects of becoming his running mate.

But the interview took a turn when Maitlis, who now hosts The News Agents podcast, frustrated Greene by questioning her about conspiracy theories.

Maitlis asked, “Can you tell me why so many people who support Donald Trump are into conspiracy theories, including yourself?

“He seems to attract a lot of conspiracy theories.”

Greene shot back, “Let me tell you. You are a conspiracy theorist and the left and the media spread even more conspiracy theories.

“We love the truth, we love supporting our Constitution, our freedoms and America First.”

But Maitlis went a step further by asking: “What about Jewish space lasers? Tell us about Jewish space lasers.”

Before storming off, an angry Greene responded, “No, why don’t you talk about Jewish space lasers.”

President Joe Biden and Donald Trump are predicted to win the state primaries held on Super Tuesday

“And really, why don’t you just hit the road? How about that?’

Maitlis’ investigation focused on a now-deleted Facebook post that Greene shared in 2018.

She claimed that the deadly California wildfire may have been caused by space lasers linked to the Rothschild family and former California Governor Jerry Brown.

Greene said there were “too many coincidences to ignore” regarding the cause of the fires.

She then went on a rampage attempting to link Pacific Gas & Electric Company (PG&E), which caused the fire that killed 85 people due to faulty equipment, to the Rothschilds.

PG&E previously pleaded guilty to the fire and agreed to pay more than $25 billion in damages.

Greene is known to support the bizarre QAnon conspiracy theoryalthough she has tried to publicly distance herself from Q supporters since her election in 2020.

Maitlis’ shocking conversation with Greene came as Trump was reveling in his Super Tuesday success.

In a victory speech, he labeled Joe Biden the worst president in American history and did not mention his Republican rival Haley.

Trump stormed to victory in more than a dozen Republican contests and his diehard supporters blamed Haley hiding at home while suffering a crushing defeat.

His victory lap came as he continued to storm toward the Republican Party’s presidential nomination.

A total of 1,215 delegates are needed to win the nomination and Trump has more than 950 delegates to his name.

Haley trails with 86 delegates and scored just one win on Super Tuesday.

Vermont has called for Haley, but so far only nine of the state’s 17 delegates have been added to her column.

Trump won in 14 states: Alaska, Colorado, Maine, Oklahoma, Virginia, Tennessee, Texas, Minnesota, North Carolina, Massachusetts, Alabama, Arkansas, California and Utah.

Utah was the last state to name its Republican race.

In the Golden State, Trump’s projected margin of victory will be about 50 percentage points.

He secured all 169 state delegates that were up for grabs.

Trump is poised for a huge victory in Texas, where he leads Haley with 78% of the vote.

More than 140 of the state’s 161 delegates have been assigned to Trump.
