NEIL WARNOCK is set for another return to management.

The 75-year-old has already received a number of questions since ending his 34-DAY stay in Aberdeen a week ago.

Warnock could well come to terms with a struggling side looking for a survival boost – a repeat of what he did to keep Huddersfield in the Championship a year ago.

The iconic gaffer only played eight games in Aberdeen.

He joined on February 5, replacing Bobby Robson.

And Warnock left just over a month later on March 9, having guided Aberdeen to the Scottish Cup semi-final.

It was only his second win as club boss, with Warnock losing four games and drawing the other two.

He said: “I was honored to lead Aberdeen for a short period and help Dave and the board put themselves in a position where they could move closer to a permanent position.

“Obviously I would have hoped to have had a few more league wins along the way, but I am also delighted to have helped the club to the semi-final of the Scottish Cup.

“I hope they can now go on and lift the trophy.

“Ronnie and I cannot thank the fans enough for their support while we have been here and we wish the club and supporters all the best for the rest of the season and for the future.”

Warnock’s shock departure came as he prepared a possible attack on Junior Hoilett.

The pair previously worked together at QPR and Cardiff.

And should Warnock make a stunning return to the Championship, he could still continue his interest.
