New Year’s Day 2024 started with a bang.

The 135th Rose Parade in Pasadena, California – a sleepy and affluent suburb of Los Angeles – was packed with stars on Monday.

This year’s theme was Celebrating a World of Music, which gave the morning parade an international flair.

Michelle Williams of Destiny’s Child performed during the opening number.

Also in attendance was David Archuleta, who was the 2008 American Idol runner.
